Canon 300D Users: Error 2 - DPChallenge Forums

My 300D is giving me an error sign. It says error 02 when I out in a flash card. Anyone know what's up? The flash card seems to be a bit tight getting into place.

From what I've been reading..sounds like the CF card is bad.

You may want to read some here..I saw something towards the bottom about the wires beening bent.

but i've tried 5 different cards & I get the same message. can it be something other then the card? I went to a store & at the store tried 2 different cards & got the same thing.

Did you try to format the card? or reformat it?
If you can give that a shot. Also you might try taking the battery out for 5-10 minutes and then start everything all over again. Be sure the camera is off before you pull the card.

I tried the format & the card works from my reader. Lemme try the batt thingy.

I;ve checked & the pins look all right in the cam.

cool. thanks for the link justine. BTW, I just looked into the card holder, didnt touch nothing. :)

That batt thing did not work. Lemme check out the link.
