Since I have sold a photo through DPCPrints, does that make me a professional? :-) |

Studio Photography and Design is another one that is free.
Much different than Rangefinder.
Oh, sorry their new name for a few months now is Sutdio Photography, the Business Behind the Image

Been subscribed to Rangefinder for 6months now. Naturally some month's issues are better than others but really liked each of them thus far. Sign up ASAP, you've got nothing to lose :)
Just be patient to receive your first issue. Me and a friend signed up at the same time but I got my first issue a few weeks later. She got an issue yesterday, while I'm waiting to get mine later today or tommorow.

I'm not even close to being a pro and haven't made a single dollar off of my photography, but I signed up at the beginning of the year and have been receiving Rangefinder since March. Lots of great articles and lots of ideas/inspiration through the photos and photographers words. Definitely a must have especially since it's free. |

I just went to the site to subscribe to Studio Photography and Design, and saw
THIS CONTEST.
Thought I would post it for everyone. I didn't read anything about it though.

Is it a monthly? I recieved my first issue in April and haven't received one since. It was a neat mag and I guess I figured it was quarterly or bi-annual or something. Anyone had a similar experience with missing issues? |

While the first page on the Rangefinder subscription says it's free for US and Canada, it only seems to allow US on the second page. Anyone else from Canada able to get this before? |

I have been getting this for a long time and it's generally a great mag. They seem to plug they own trade organisation a lot but I guess that is ok. A lot better then most photg mags which are just advertising with a handful of words wrapped around them.
My major gripe is that they sell the name/address on, so I got a big slug of new junk mail and I know rangefinder is the source since they are the only ones with the particular company name. |

Nothing is really free :) This just happens to be the price we pay for a fairly decent magazine. They have to pay for all that paper somehow. |

Of course.... They probably should say that rather then just not say they don't but that's a seperate topic :-) |
