Congrats Cards--

Tigers just plain sucked in this series, couldn't hit and way too many errors :(

Man after watching the Cardinals fall on their face the last weeks of the season I thought no way they could hang with the Tigers. They played like a great team and needed it to beat the Tigers. Congrats to the Cardinals for a great finish to the season!

No kidding. I wish they played like that against the Yankees. Even their pitchers, which was their bread and butter all year had trouble throwing strikes. I guess when the WS logo was added to their cap so was a bundle of nerves.

that is one hell of a way to break in the new stadium!! I just wish I could have been home to celebrate with the rest of the Cardinal fans and to capture the moments.

I'll be sending my mother a check so she can pick up World Series t-shirts for my kids.

it's time for another beer!!!

When I requested a t-shirt from the World Series from my sister and her husband since they actually went to game three, I they very apologetically told me no, because they were $50 each. But I'm sure the presses are going to be running overtime for awhile to get them into the not-Busch-Stadium venues now.. I wonder what the going rate is on mlb.com... *trots off to check*

I believe they are $24.99

I'll wait until they are in stock at Wal-Mart and get them a bit cheaper.
