I only wish this was my phenomenon. I start high on opening night, settle out during the week, and then fall some more, only to be picked up by about a .05-.1 bump at rollover. But, now i am with the notorious F/Stops so i expect more. ;) |

I rest my case. All you have to do is look at who is most upset about my request to see the shadow of the problem. |

Well sorry to say this...but according to this definition -
gang - Informal. A group of people who associate regularly on a social basis: The whole gang from the office went to a clambake.
- you are part of a gang too....the DPC gang. So lay off the accusations and just have fun with this site. If you really and truly have any evidence of tampering..then submit it and stop making unnecessary waves. This site has seen enough of waves of late and we really don't need any unsubstantiated accusations starting to fly again.

Wasn't there a post about this like five minutes ago anyway? In which I think I posted that, if you have a "gang" of six people, then over 200 votes it would make .15 total difference for one score if they all voted 10 instead of five.
Even if I was .15 away from a ribbon, I still wouldn't care. |

Come on, Hahn, you & me will go start our own gang - the "Poor Saps". You can be in charge of vote auditing. When you find anything suspicious - anything at all - let me know and I'll handle the village burning. |

Hey Richard...
If I can just let you know respectfully. I've been part of one of the more vocal teams on the site for 1 season.
Before I joined, it did cross my mind that there were alot of 'gangs' or cliques developing.. a trend that I thought may be counterproductive as far as maintaining a level playing field for everyone. Fortunately my fears were proven wrong. In fact, I found that because of the team set ups, the exact opposite was happening in as much as fair play seemed far more important for the sake of team integrity. I think that's the reason for the harsher than usual backlash here. Everyone tries very hard to keep things on the up and up.

If I'm the masses does that mean I am to blame for all the 'gang-voting'? ;o) |

Yup, I've told my team, and they all agree that if and pre-challenge critiques are given, those pictures are not to be voted upon for any reason at all.
I can understand being suspicious as you're on the outside of this, but Langdon, and I think CJ and Manic are not on teams, and they're the ones who do the investigating. Have a little smidgen of faith in your fellow DPC'ers dude.
