on the basic editing, am I able to use the nik sharpener and noiseware pro filters? |

What are they .... in basic anything you do should be done on the whole picture .. not at pixel level .. e.g. neat image on the whole image is fine .. this is my understanding. But I may be incorrect ... site council????

I think so as long as the filter is applied to the entire image. You can not selectively sharpen or blur an image in Basic. The rules state that sharpening tools and noise reduction tools are acceptable.

Right -- noise-reduction and/or sharpening applied uniformly to the entire image is OK in all challenges, unless specified otherwise in Special Rules listed with the challenge description -- an extremely rare situation. |
