When will DPC offer stock images up for sale...?

probably a field best left for companies with lots of resources ... but it is an intriguing thought.

Why? How much resources or capital do you think those companies require to launch a photo stock site?

I could see DPC Prints evolving to a point where images were available for download as stock... it would require a bit of coding work but mainly alot of legal and advertising work.

I dumped 80 photos on Shutterstock at one time this week... that's a lot of wading through photos for approval and such.

Wow! That's a significant number. What is their response time to process them?

BTW, Leroy, what's your id/codname in Shutterstock?

Shutterstock's review time is typically 48-72 hours; probably longer for first-time submitters. I think you get better results submitting several smaller batches than one huge batch, though that may also subject you to the opinions of more than one review -- could be good or bad ... I use the same username at Shutterstock as here ...

Anyone wanna revisit this?

Not really -- the web is saturated with stock sites, and it's a huge coding project.

I'd rather have a better-functioning print site -- there are fewer of those around.

If it's gonna happen, make it optional. I don't wanna do stock.
