Big news story... earthquake on the big Island.

Edit: NVM, didn't look closely enough. CNN - 4.9 earthquake hits hawaii.

dude, that was quite a shaker! Rivaled the big one in LA (which I was there for). Well, at least it felt close. I thought our house was gonna collapse, stuff was flying off shelves....haha, fun stuff :P

I've been watching the various news channels and although they have reported no casualties or severe damage, I do know that they have determined, after changing the numbers several times, after reviewing all of the data, they are saying it was a 6.6.

actually it was 6.6 at the epicenter, a good 6.3-6.5 in Hilo, here.

glad ya'll are ok!!! i was definitely there for the 94 earthquake in LA... right at the epicenter!!! GoOoOood shakiN times!!!! :)
