odd problem w/ forum code in my bio and sig line..

i have the following code that i want to use in my bio and sig :

{url=//www.dpchallenge.com/image.php?IMAGE_ID=410151}{img}//images.dpchallenge.com/images_portfolio/28276/orig/410492.jpg{/img}{/url}

(yes yes... i'm using the correct brackets... this is just for show)

every time i come back into the preferences page, it has replace the above code with the incorrect code below :

{thumb}410151{/thumb}

anyone got any ideas on how to keep this from happening?

Because they both do the same thing? You want this

in your bio/sig right?

nope. notice that the image numbers are different. i want the little one that's in my sig right now...

Use this instead {img}url=//shaneblake.com/Underexposed/kudzu_small.jpg{/img}

Added: Just change the brackets...you know.

moving them there was a temporary fix. i'd like everyone to be able to use them w/o using my limited bandwidth...

edit to add : plus there's the issue of the parse routine for the preference page being just plain broken. or so it would seem...

The 'small' version needs to be saved somewhere. How about opening a photobucket account (free), upload the small versions there and voila.

the small version is in my portfolio.

again... this is the problem... when i use the image there, it gets changed to {thumb} then i go to edit my preferences later...

the issue is _not_ where the image is... it is that the forum code does not stay the way i put it when i hit the save button...
