i am with you. yesterday the family went to an aligator park. there were other familys walking around and looking at the flowers from a distance (and the sidewalk then there was crystal and I all in the bushes with these huge cameras chasing butterflys. I know people think we were crazy. some lady on the train later said " they sure take photos seriously don't that?" |

Ok.....I have caught up with all my comments, to all the images, re the macros.....
If I have missed one, I am sorry, as I have really tried to comment on them all. (Actually about 350 images, give or take a few.....)

This crystal glass was photographed inside a cabinet in my home by bouncing a separate, hand-held flash off the sides of the cabinet during the 1/3s exposure. That had the effect of washing out the background and a portion of the glass, leaving the faint upward swirl of glass on the right side.

Sherpet, to answer your question about where I get this stuff. I shot a lot of these dried arrangement items in a Michaels Craft store. I just went in and asked if they minded if I took some shots. The girl looked at me a bit strange but said ok :)
