I'm on the verge. Convince me to/not to try and get one soon.

Seriously I have the 80-200 AF-S and I can't live with out it. But the 70-200VR oh me oh my!

| Knowing that the 70-200/2.8 VR is every bit the lens that the Canon 70-200/2.8 IS is, I'd say "go for it!" You'd have to pry my 70-200 IS from my cold, dead fingers. |

You understand you can put it in the will so it's burried with you right :-))
From all reports it's a great lens - if you can find somewhere that has it - so go for it IF it fits into what you will use. |

The 70-200 f/2.8 VR and the 105mm f/2.8 VR and the two lenses I want the most.
DO IT! I know I would if I could afford it. :-)
