I took this photo and it just says so much without being overbearing. Let me know what you think, please. Post yours, too.

Yes, definitely thought provoking. One could come up with a hundred stories about this bench. The first thing that comes to my mind is an elderly man who used to sit on this bench in the park for hours every morning, feeding the squirrels and blue jays, waving to passerbys, sharing peanuts to feed his squirrels with toddlers being pushed in jogging strollers, while their mother stops and takes a sip of her Starbucks non-fat gingerbread latte.

And now, he's not there anymore.

Have you tried this in black and white or a subtle duotone? I think it would look great, and also accentuate the lonely mood of the photo.

Since you asked, I recently took this photo with kind of the same kind of feel to it:

yeah mike that photo has a great feel to it. I feel that away about this shot of mine. almost no processing either this is just how it was inside that cell.
