As a new member to DPChallenge and a relatively new hobiest in photography, I decided to browse threw my files and uploaded some of my favorite shots from my history. One stood out as my all time favorite. Granted I am biased by the subject, I am curious as to what others think of it. The intent was to capture the contrast between the generations.

(Oh, and feel free to provide opinions on any other photos in my portfolio. I have thick skin. Be honest)

Hi Trinch, welcome.
I think you achieved your intent well. I would only submit that I don't care for the wall on the left that appears tilted. Of course I know it's not, but it distracts my eye. Hope that makes some sense. For the most part all your photos are nice but again I would suggest some different cropping or paying closer attention to details when shooting.

Thanks for the reply. Suprisingly, that wall does bow in. The house is actually over 500 years old and very little, if anything, is square. You can see the exterior in the other pictures. However, I do agree that it is distracting. I also noted, recently, the reflections on the door frame, picture frame, and phone handle. As far as croping, with the exception of this photo and the squirrel, they are all original, no touch-ups no cropping. I will concentrate more on the details and hope to get a better eye for the art.

Thanks again.
