I'm looking for full-sized, unedited images for PS practice. Subject doesn't matter, although for my own sanity I would prefer something with a bit of interest. Anyone know of a website with originals posted?
Why don't I just use my own images, you ask? Good question. The answer begins with me neglecting to lock my camera up when left home for work. How it proceeds is a bit uncertain, but as near as I can piece together it involves a small boy (my son), the camera strap and a very-playful, new kitten. However it proceeded, it ends with a busted shutter. Since then I have been mainly concentrating on improving PS skills. I have been editing and re-editing old images of mine until I am tired of looking at them. So I began this search.
As I said, I don't care what they are pictures of, although a variety and interesting subjects are a plus. But there are some limitations. I don't see the point in trying to learn PS on images that have major flaws. While major flaws are challenging to work with and provide their own learning potential -- I don't feel they are a good way to learn basic techniques with.
*general disclaimer*
I have no interest in using the images in any other way than furthering my own education. They will not be posted to any website (not even this one), unless they are clearly been placed in the public domain (I might have questions occasionally). If I understand copyright law correctly this falls well within the scope of 'fair use'.
Can anyone point me in the right direction here?
Thanks
David
