In July, I took my first shots of a terrific staircase in my office building with my A620. For Free Study XIII, I reshot it using my S2 IS. Turns out the A620 has a slightly wide field of view.
I also edited the entry a bit differently - primarily on the hanging lights. And the lights are angled a bit vs. the original.
Other than that, I tried to get as close to the original as possible.
I'm quite happy with the result in the free study, but ever since I shot it, I've been wondering whether the wider angle on the stairs looks better, ignoring the differences in the lights. What do you think, and why?

I think the tighter-cropped one is actually a better composition anyway; int he original there's wasted space on the left that's not adding any dynamic to the image. Nice finish in the FS!
