I went down to Wally-Mart this morning to pickup one thing. I came home three hours later, having circled town, with several bags of goodies. In all, I ended up with (7) rubber duckies, (1) little woody, a bag of bungee cords, an umbrella, and a can of silver spray paint. Rather strange, I do admit. The outcome is pretty cool, though:
It's a black rain umbrella, with the inside spray painted silver. I busted the plastic handle off and mounted it via bent coathanger to my little Quantaray slave flash. The whole thing is mounted on my old tripod. It was used in conjunction with my Quantaray hotshoe flash to light the following, and for a cheap cobble, I'm impressed.
As I said up top, by woody couple got a child, and were very pleased!
And of course, I found a whole flock of duckies to bring home, too! (They were hard to find - got six of them in two packs at the second dollar store I tried, and the biggest one is from Bath & Body Works. I went all over town looking for them)
The two young ones found each other quickly and made friends
Unfortunatly, there was something lost in translation, and the other duckies get concerned.
The duckies move in and "rescue" their duckling.
Thank goodness for all, I turned around and saw what was happening and was able to explain. Everyone's friends again.
This whole thing proves two points. First, I probably have way too much free time on my hands. And second, I shouldn't be allowed out shopping without supervision.
The kicker - I have no idea what I went out to get in the first place.
