I had to unplug everything and set it aside so my desk could get moved into storage. When I plugged everything back in, my lovely nice big richly colored monitor refused to recognize a signal of any kind. My trusty little second monitor recognized both analog and digital.

Sigh.

So I called Gateway and the poor young lady was a wee bit confused - she kept asking what model computer I have (it's home built). Finally she understood and said for a $98 hold charge on a credit card, they'd ship me a new one and a label to send the old one back. So maybe by the end of next week I'll have my nice big monitor back.

Look at the pins on your monitor connections. Some times they
get bent.

Yeah, tried that. Also tried both digital and analog inputs - two diff cables and two diff ports/connections with no luck. Something in the monitor went phhhffffttttt!
