Great lense. Sucks for moon shots. With my 70-200F4 on my 10D, the best image I got 482x482 picture with crappy noise. It might be time to invest in a telescope. That or a 300mm L.

Here's mine. Second attempt at shooting the moon, I'm happy with it. Was the perfect night, that's for sure!

Matt,

I'll bet that if you brought your ISO down to 100 and your shutter speed down to around 1/640s, the image would have brighted up quite a bit more.

This is all from the recommended settings from the Shaytech Moon Exposure Calculator, which is how I based my own moon image, captured last night . . .
