It's a damselfly, not a dragonfly.
Still a good video though!

There isn't much in the insect world a Preying Mantis won't try to and usually kill. My daughter has 2 of them in a tank that she keeps. Both of them are around 6 inches long. It's cool to sit there and watch them stalk the crickets and other bugs she feeds them. They are extremely quick and precise when it comes to killing their prey.
Here's a photo (not mine) of a Mantis that caught and killed a Hummingbird.
