Hi all,
I'm sorry if this thread exists - I searched quickly but didn't see a duplicate.
For someone looking to enter stock photography, a huge question on my mind is "What sells?" Also, for someone who doesn't know much about the industry, who are the biggest customers and what are they interested in?
If you don't mind sharing some of your recent successes, we'd love to see them - links or DPC portfolios welcome! I would also welcome PM's with links to galleries.
(The Alamy Challenge thread has a couple shots, but it's a lot to sift through, and I haven't found a feature at the stock sites that shows this kind of info.)

I have sold this one 4 or 5 times for $59 on Shutterpoint: 'Daddy's Feet'
I have a whole 6 images on Dreamstime, this is the most downloaded with 23 downloads...nothing extraordinary: 'Cradle'

This is by far my most popular of the 200+ pics I have floating around shutterstock, dreamstime, fotolia, and IStock. I'm hoping she sells well at Alamy, as well.

Made the most dough for me on Shutterstock
Pretty much everything (minus 5-6 shots) is selling consistantly. The best thing you can do for yourself is look at the most popular keywords and ask yourself how you can best suit those needs.

This two are my best sellers at Shutterstock......less the frames....but I like my frames ;-P
