Hello,

I tried to upload a photo to DPC Prints but it said the DPI was too low. I think it said my photos were at 96 dpi and they needed to be 150 dpi. Does anybody know how I can correct this?

#1 DPI is a reference to PRINT or DISPLAY resolution and is often used interchangeably with PPI and other things, but that's irrelevent for the present.

You need to increase the actual number of pixels in your photo.

What has happened on DPCPrints is that it has a few specific print sizes. If you have a picture that has a certain number of pixels, it will try to fit those pixels into the preset print sizes for DPCPrints.

It looks like you are getting 96 DPI for the minimum size.

Try upsizing the pics?

Of course this could also be an odd coding issue with a 'save for web' setting in Photoshop, but that would be a little unexpected.

I've not done the DPCPrints thing yet, but I would like to once my classes get a bit more settled.

I may indeed be wrong here. :) Or just watch the tutorial ;)
