I agree with Rami.

My 50mm is just too tight because of the 1.6 crop.

Surprisingly (to me anyway), the lens I use the most is my 10-22mm.

I really thought my 50mm would be perfect but I can't get everything in.

Here's another shot taken with the Sigma 30mm f/1.4

This shot was taken wide open at f/1.4, ISO 800.



I love the shallow DOF.

i wouldnt use a prime for a walk around lens. the 28-135mm IS covers alot of range. the 17-40L and 28-70 are good lens with good range but youll notice real quick that at 70mm even on a 1.6x body, that the focal length is too short.

To me, that means you aren't close enough.

Unless your subject can eat you.
