Hurray for Generation X!!! I'll be back on the 9th, so I'd love to be in! :-) And hopefully I'll have some lovely shots from my vacation for the October Free Study.....mwahahaha. Of course, it's easy to say that before the picture is taken.
Are they still allowing subs, like they did in the first season?
That might be a way to get some of the others involved...they can serve as alternates if need be. |

Don't sweat the stats! Besides, if they run it like they did the first time, you'll be matched up against someone with comparable stats from the other team in a chance to earn extra points. If you beat your average, you get points and if you beat your "opponent" you get points.
Just have fun doing the challenges and working your best :-) |

ladyhawk22...I wasn't in the league last year so your comment intrigues me. I looked at the league rules and didn't see anything like what you described but you give me some hope!! So you're saying we don't all have to be ribbon studs to be competitive? That is SUCH a relief! :)

Hmm, I looked over the rules too and I couldn't find anything that mentioned it.....but I know that's how it was done the first time it went around. So I kinda hope they're keeping that going. It was nice to feel like a contribution even if my scores were sub-par. |

Hi Elizabeth. That was something I had put together for Team KM originally to give each member of the team something to shoot for and for team MVP scoring. It wasn't something that was part of the WPL ruleset. Just so you know. ;^)
Good luck in the WPL3 season! |

Ahhhhh! Now it makes sense :-) Well, I thought it was a cool idea! Maybe, if you don't mind, Generation X could do the same thing? |

Absolutely, have a blast! Let me know if you have any questions. It's similar in nature to team scoring from bowling teams I was on years ago with player to player matchups based on actual averages. Just a way to keep things interesting. :D |

OH...an arrow to the heart as gladbedad shoots down the glimmer of hope I once had.
So you did that yourself? No wonder you said being a team captain was a lot of work for you. LOL
If you have a spreadsheet or something you used to do it and would be willing to share with me I'd like to see it and think about doing it for our team as well |

lkn4truth--saw your reply on a different thread and thought I'd post here :-)
PMs and emails you say?? This is curious because I haven't gotten any....though I know sometimes there are glitches here which don't ACTUALLY deliver the PMs. I'm still definitely interested in doing WPL3!!! I hope I'm not too late due to missing your emails.
If you need to email me, try:
elizabeth@marketus.net
or
ladyhawk2280@gmail.com
Ahhh, ok, I just checked my email program and the server for my marketus account seems to be down. Best bet would be to use the gmail then, as I'm pretty sure that won't go down :-) |
