I've been trying to get tiny donations in mass quantity for my breast cancer run ... It's not going as well as I hoped but I figured there might be some DPC'rs interested.
A friend of mine was recently diagnosed very shortly after having her first child.
If you'd like to give $2-10 for this good cause, please visit my page and use the link to donate. Thanks.

Buddy Boobs
Boopy, boobs, bitty n boppy,
They have a spring action just like boobidy floppidy..
Some love them enough to keep them hidden..
Some are naughty and like to show the forbidden...
Headlights arent quite as bright..
Perky must see the light.
Big, round, and full of life...
Soft and squishy all so nice..
Never to be kept alone.
Should be placed on high thrown.
Fit to knock one down.
They arent for a clown.
Its a miracle to have a posture.
More is to much for one to endure..
Its almost a curse.
Like carrying a big purse.
To keep them locked up..
Just in side a cup..
A strap around the shoulders
Crossed like X on a folder..
Is it a sin to have these?
Are they gonna please?..
Everyone must have a buddy..
Self checks for Cancer study..
Remind your friends,
Before extra lumps or bumps transcends.
Situations like these are ok to share..
Saving life because we care..
My bitty n boppy are tiny and small.
That doesnt mean I want more at all..
To each set belongs a pesonality..
With soul, beauty, and individuality..
A owner so special..
Deserves treatment thats beneficial..
This is for all that have suffered..
All that lost, and all that gain...
Remember to take care..
Breast Cancer beware...

Great approach to the fundraising. While I collect for the AHA our method is 'Every $1...makes a difference.." so we collect $1.00 at a time and are far more successful then trying to get big donations..
Good luck on your run!!! |

The cost of $2.00 a one time donation per year, is the gift worth giving your sister, daughter, mother, grandma, aunt, cousin, or friend.
The cost of research may be high.
The cost for a cure is even expensive.
The cost to have medicine is never cheap..
The cost of life is priceless.
I am not able to donate money all the time but this is one cause I have to.
I know someone who suffered from the disease and at the time that I was told about her condition by her daughter, I was stupid enough to say, "Oh breast cancer, well atleast its not a bad type of cancer right? People don't die of it like the other cancers do they?"
I felt so bad later after that statement. I had never imagined anything so bad something could affect a person until I watched this special persons life fade away.
Don't be so naive as I was, please be aware of Breast Cancer...
From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
Peace.

Ahh, for the literal and sarcastic interpreters ...
please add the word "Research" at the end of the topic title.
Thank you.

Tate...have fun on Saturday....My walk is on Sunday. My Aunt had Breast Cancer last yr. surgery and radiation removed it all, then at her 1 yr checkup in June they found a Orange size tumor on her ovaries. She had planned on walking in the Making Strides Walk, but is currently recovering from that surgery....I am 'pinch-hitting' for her and doing the physical walk for her....
Brush off the 'joke' made by nfessel.....Fortunatly for that person, their lives have never endured the suffering of watching a loved one with Cancer. tolovemoon phrased it best....Originally posted by tolovemoon: .....
