I just joined yesterday and got one submitted under high contrast and working on others. Are there rules for what photos we put into our portfolio? I mean I can use a photo that's a month old right? I don't know how to do any of that advanced editing stuff so none of my photos have any of that done. I got some into workshop and got them into collections. For instance I have one titled spiders, one titled people and one titled Nature but, I can't figure out how to get them onto a portfolio so others can see them. Any help given is greatly appreciated. I didn't see any threads that related.

Welcome!!! I see you're from Hawaii... that's awesome... I hope to move there next year to study photography!!

If you upload photos to your "Workshop" then nobody else can see them.

Click into "My Portfolio"... under "Collection Options" (towards the bottom), Click on "New Collection".... Name it and then click into it, so that it opens the collection folder.... then up at the top they'll be a place to upload the photos.

If you already have some collections in your "Workshop"... the go into your workshop, click into the collection, and towards the bottom there will be an option that says "Move Collection", ask it to move the collection to your portfolio

hope that helps! can't wait to see some of your shots!

Okay I think you should be able to see them now. I "changed the order" but, it didn't put the ones I wanted first. Wait maybe theres a save button I didn't push... I'll try again. Let me know if you can see them. Thanks for the help. I'll miss you getting here if you're coming next year anytime after March. I'm active duty Navy and retire and go home to Oregon in March.

... unless you post a thumbnail to the particular picture. Otherwise no one can see it in your portfolio.

Now make them 640 pixels so we can see more details.

Try it now and let me know what you think. I already had spiders separated so I put them all on here even though some of them aren't so good. I put one on here in print quality requesting approval (Swan Guards). Let me know if the rest are better for size or if they still need to be changed. I updated the details for each of them also. Now I just need to add the other photos I like.... I have sooooo many 3 weeks in Japan and I took photos mostly on about 5 or 6 days of that trip and ended up with almost 800 photos. Before that I spent a week in Western Samoa and got about 1000 photos. And that's just those two trips. Anyway I'm just beginning and still have a lot to learn so I appreciate all the help I get.... Let me know if these are okay so far.
Thanks,
Sheryll
