The item is under 3 inches high, thought it met challenge... |

it meets the challenge, sort of.
possible reasons for poor performance:
1. it's not very abstract.
2. photos of figurines, statues, and toys tend to do poorly.
3. the lighting does not do much to emphasize form or tones. |

Just trying to be honest, probably one or more of the following reasons... it does not appear to be a macro shot (I didn't know it was 3 inches); it is not very abstract (could recognize it immediately); and lastly, it doesn't really hold my attention for long. Hope this helps...

Thanks guys, I know what to work on for future challenges. It's not just the macro that didn't work, but other things that I can improve. :) Lighting being my biggest hurdle right now.......... not lack of having but lack of knowing how to use it properly. |
