Okay, so I wanted to enter this into the free study, but was too afraid that I would have gotten a request and then been disqualified for over-editing (which has happened once before). Instead I entered a safer and more boring photo.
My question is this: Would you have asked this to be validated and do you think it would be DQed?...ok, that's two questions, but you get my drift ;) Please look at the final one, and THEN the originals.

Looks fine to me. All the major elements in your final image remain in your edited version. |

lol! I suppose that's true. darn, now I'll be kicking myself all week.
Oh, yeah, I would some comments on the actual pic too...if ya dont mind :P |

I doubt it would have been disqualified.
Not a real big fan of the skin treatment though, and left a comment on the first picture. Skin is tough to get right. It should retain some texture though to prevent the barbie-doll effect of the airbrush look / plastic appearance. |

The nose especially looks like it's CG. |
