My score dropped almost .07 of a point today. When I woke up this morning, it was like 6.8996 or something. If THAT hadn't happened, I would have had third. but grumbles with a top ten grin. :)

oh yea .. . my perspective score is above 6 right now (don't expect it to stay there though), but one of the shots I wanted to take for perspective will so work in diagonal. :)

my perspective is 6.7ish, *up* from last night. I only have 19 votes though, but maybe, maybe, maybe.

Hi Ladies,
I am so sorry to have let you all down the past two weeks :o( Sure looks like you are all doing great stuff without me though! I will catch up over the next couple of days and try and leave you all some comments.
Thank you for all your support. Just to update you, today was Rose's funeral. Andi hopes to be going back home on Friday. He is hanging in there but your continued thoughts and prayers would be greatly appreciated.
I had a trip to the emergency room over the weekend :o( My already bad leg is now very bad. A purple leg and some bad swelling in my foot and knee mean I can barely walk, even with my crutches and I have a very unfetching new Knee support to go with my horrible boot....
The good news is I think I have a shot for light on white! :o) I may try and enter another challenge as well this week but will see how things go.
Hope you are all ok??

wooohoooo hanae, karmat, aimee...NICE SCORES !!!! very sorry to hear about your leg/foot Natalya. I pray daily for Rose and family...God's plans are SOOOOOOOOO difficult sometimes. hugs to everyone and congrats on wonderful pics your taking. Had to chuckle at our 'legless' bound teamate, (Hanae I think that means she's gonna get plastered to celebrate great score) funny how we are so emotional and get highs and lows from some silly ole photography website (JOKING, sorta)

:( my score has dropped a full point today. that is discouraging.
oh well. it's still in the high 5s, so I can't complain, but looking at 6.ish scores are so much more fun.
talj, good to hear from you. Take your time and get as much better as possible. your leg is more important that wpl, anyday. Prayers are still with andi. |

WOW!! You ladies have been doing some awesome work!!! I just checked out our average too and all I can say is WE ROCK!!
I am editing my light on white shot later today and may try and put something together for diagonal too, but I dont have an idea for that one yet!
Hanae...middle 6's is FANTASTIC!! GO HANAE!!
It looks like WPL3 really has us binging home some brilliant scores!

Okay, I'm sobered up and ready to shoot for Light on White + Diagonal. My postcard is sitting on a 6.2 so it's fair to say I'm feeling good about that :)

I have the idea and in camera it looked like I got the background pretty ok. Then when I stuck it on the PC the colour was all wrong :o( May have to reshoot tomorrow I think.
Hope you manage to think of an idea Jude....if I cant get the light on white shot sorted out I'll have to get my thinking cap on too, I have no ideas for the other challenges this week!
Anyway, its bedtime for me so catch you ladies tomorrow :o)

I'm sorry you are struggling. I took my shot outside against some white posterboard and had no issues with the white - some focus issues though :( but it'll work.

Pop in anytime! I have plenty of turkey and dressing left overs in the fridge right now! :)
I don't think my focus issues are too bad - just not exactly what I'd like. I think I still have a shot at a decent score though (but of course who ever knows right?)!
