Yes Rina, you are correct :)

Me? I'm still congratulating myself on giving Talj a good seeing to :) but need a kick to get myself back into submitting after taking a few weeks off - WPL is a good motivator.

Unless I'm mistaken 7 : 5 isn't really a good seeing too :-P

Which leads to the question are we doing H2H Round 2 during WPL3 Andi?

Evening Ladies,

I have a question....

What do you all reckon counts as a longer than normal exposure?

11/02/2006 08:14:35 PM · #405
i think longer than 1 second since there already was a seperate challenge for that. the voters will only have the image and the title to judge by.

ps sorry i did not get back to you on your image for photoshopping but i am having troubles with my 20 and 18 years olds....the 9 yr old with special needs is by far the easiet!

Long exposure is advanced editing.....you can remove the sensor dust can't you??

Self portrait doesn't count in WPL3, none of the side challenges do, just the Weekly challenges.

Anymore problems just shout Jude :o)

Excellent!! I am just about to settle down and edit my long exposure shot....with my limited skills in PS this could take sometime!!

How's everyone else doing with entries for this week??

i've taken a reflection shot. i'm not sure if it is "out of the box" or "dnmc." :) I have a neat idea (of course I think so) for long exposure, but haven't gotten around to it yet.

Well, my long exposure is in. It's Plan B because Plan A didn't quite work out as well as I'd hoped. Will attempt neon as well just in case it flops.

Hanae, Sonya, Aimee? How are you guys going?

Sorry for the absense - long work week and church retreat all weekend. Still squeezed in some photos though - don't worry.

My neon is ready to go and I snapped a long exposure this morning. My first attempt at long exposure and it's average at best. I think my neon is kind of cool but my guess is not a whopping score.

My long exposure is only 1/5 shudder speed but I think it's OK because there is clear impact of long exposure in the pic. Hopefully that will keep the dnmc nazi's at bay...we'll see!

Good luck sisters!!!

my long exposure is 6 seconds but it is not what dpc normally likes. plus i had to shoot it with my crummy point and shoot panasonic.
i will reshoot my neon tomorrow and it might be a bit above average...good luck ladies!

My long exposure is 8 seconds, the hardest thing I found with it was thinking of a title lol

I have also edited my Reflections shot and submitted that but may have another go at editing tomorrow too! :o)

Am looking forward to hitting the update button in the morning! :o)

It's funny, I started at 6 seconds for mine, didn't like it and went up to 8, then 10, then 15.... safe to say that it's under 1 minute and longer than 20 seconds :D

Crossing my fingers and toes, good luck all!

I'm in long exposure and reflections. Will be happy with a 5. It just wasn't happening. :(
