I just wanted to let you all know that I'm really enjoying seeing all the different picutres in the 30 Day Pet Portrait challenge. right now, when I log on, one of the first things I do is check the "Recently Uploaded Photographs" so I can see the new pet photos. some of the photos just make me laugh out loud and I call my husband and kids over to the computer to so I can show them the pictures. keep up the great work!!!

Day 10

One of my nephew's new kittens. While babysitting his younger brother who is blind, can't talk and can't walk at age 4 I snapped some shots REAL quick while physical therapist was there...no "sympathy" comments just prayers please :-) He's a SPECIAL baby and now his older brother (10) has some SPECIAL kitties. Hugs to all...love the shots and I've GOT to get caught up commenting on all your wonderful pets and shots.

Day 12 Our sweet little princess, called Mischa, with her new Bandana, as she has just returned from the clippers, after having all her coat shawn off. She was so good, they gave her the bandana to keep and to wear home. She is in her favorite position, as she loves a belly scratch.....

I got cat class and I got cat style...

Simon's being aloof and distant, possibly on account of all the carpentry I'm doing around the house. Shortly I shall have more time to comment and Simon a bit more peace and quiet...

Are these all yours, as if they are, you have a wonderful family of cats here.

sherpet....They are 'all' mine.

Topaz (dog) and Spooky are 'mine'. Meara and Maple are my 'step-children', and Cinder, Mama, Whitey are former feral cats that have resided in my garage for 3-5yrs. All 3 feral cats have been spayed by a local Feral Cat Spay-Neuter Program. This stops the insanity but lets the animals live out their lives. I have welcomed them to stay in the garage so therefore they probably are no longer 'feral'? Cinder was the last kitten born there. While trying to capture him and his siblings to take to the clinic, I lost visual on the kitten. 27hrs later I found him....stuck upside down inside a cinder-block hole. So while I found homes for his siblings I decided he could stay with Mama and Whitey. They are so tame, they just want NOTHING to do with coming in the house.

Day 12 is the third of my Irish Wolfhounds and the only girl, Gracie, a.k.a. Satan! I know she looks lovely but she is a terror. My husband was supposed to obedience-train her after we adopted her from the shelter 2 years ago. *Was.* She is almost constantly happy but thinks nothing of chasing whatever takes her fancy, and never mind the fact that there is a person on the other end of the leash.

We love her, anyway ;-)
