Comments come unevenly. He's an exceptional fish. Have you considered seeking a grant for marine research - or has Blarney already done that?
This picture I took yesterday, of neighbour cat (2 floors down) Brahms out on his own for the first time ever, meeting neighbour cat (next-door building) Piraeus who just came back from a holiday on the West Coast while his owners were in England, is so photographically erronous that I'll have to post two for the price of one today. I only got two shots before the fur hit the fan, as it were, and this is the best one, believe it or not. That's Brahms on the deck.
Today it's raining, so here's Piraeus offering an opinion about that.

Official Day 6 pic:
This guy really is as cute and cuddly as he looks (far from true of some of my other bunnies!).
Two other crops I considered:
Crop 1
Crop 2
Opinions? And if y'all really like one of the other ones better, do I get to switch it with my official one :-p

someone was mentioning about how to keep a fish in focus when photographing it. a few weeks back i was in the second hand store and bought a funky book called how to hold a crocodile. it contains many useful tips about almost everything - how to hold rabbits, to how to kill a vampire, to how to photograph fish! cool.
i read it, and thought, hmm, interesting, and thought no more, as i don't have fish. but i can now pass on my absorbed wisdom...
slip a sheet of clean glass into the aquatium, that is just the right size that your fishy friend can't get around it. slide it up towards the side you photograph from until the fish has just over his body length to swim in. voila - instant focal range!

I have fish and to keep them in focus? Just take lots of pictures and have a fast lens with a good auto focus on. Works pretty well. Also do continuous shooting and if the fish is moving a lot with luck one or two will be in perfect focus.
Anyway cat photography.
Here's my day 5: Spots
Tomorrow is weekend so I finally have daylight to work with. I.e I wont be away working when it's still bright so I can get better photos then. |

Well I have just spent over an hour, on COMMENTING on over a 129 pet photos, and I think I even caught a 'ring in' with one image, as it was just to good not to comment on it.
Now it is up to you all, to try and comment on as many as you can.
So many people/members, are doing such a great job, that they deserve a comment, so please try and take the time to comment on a few of this great "PET" images.....
