Wow I went to work and expected a bit better response by now!! Sheesh, it is getting harder and harder to be here and be a P&S owner...

Come on, it'll be kewl, we'll be famous!! Whenever the debate comes up about DSLR vs PS, they'll all point to us and say "Well those guys blew us all away at WPL3!"

So are you going to captain us? We need an official name and logo now since it looks like it's going to happen!

Well I think we still need 4 more, and we don't seem to be getting alot of interest :-(
I would captain the team if no one else wants to...altho I will tell ya off the bat, I can't come to terms with how much I dislike my ghetto cam, as I lovingly refer to it. ANd as soon as is possible I am jumping ship for a dslr!!
That said IF we form a team, I will glefully shoot ghetto-style until the end of WPL3( new cam isn't gonna happen for a coule of months)

I just looked on the WPL thread and the teams each have seven members. So it looks like we might have everyone at this point, right?

I don't think

alfresco wants to be on the team, I think he was just bumping. He's already a member of DOF Llamas, so that's my assumption.

And I think it's 7 members including the captain.

Anybody got ideas for our name? What about "From the Hip" (as in
shoot straight from the hip) That may be pretty lame, as it just

"From the Hip" doesn't really excite me. Alas, I don't know if I have anything better, but here they are:

"Team P&S"
"Team Point & Shoot" (those 2 are really original!)
"The Pointer Shooters" (you know, like the Pointer Sisters? Ha! - this one is actually

Southern Gentleman) a PM a little bit ago, and have received his reply. Team sign-ups are in progress, and there is a limited number of spots available, so the sooner we can get organized the better!
