Randy, Simon and Mr. Monroy all in one day

well it's been a day. Attended the Adobe workshop in Birmingham. Drove 3.5 hrs to get there by 8:30 (so up WAY too early!). Watch the master himself, Mr. Bert Monroy, do magic all day (I've realize how'd ignorant I REALLY am when it comes to photoshop). Leave for lunch very much in awe of Monroy's talents, walk out door of civic center and up pulls limo with none other than Randy Jackson and Simon (he DOES smile...lol). The pic with Mr. Monroy was taken by the NAPP guy so don't blame me..lol. ANYWHO, Mr. Monroy and the entire NAPP staff were very witty, brilliant, and hospitable. Sure stunk only having my 17/40 lens with the celebs pop'n out of limos..but what can I say?lol Did however, meet several nice folks and of course gave em all DPC addy :-)

Randy and Simon?lol...American Idol judges, bert monroy is now proofing and using CS4..says 3 will be out SOON..he creates many of the brushes, etc one uses in photoshop

check out monroy's website..some great tutorials there

don't know if he tells on his website..but it took ELEVEN MONTHS to create his latest work... I can't stay focused in Photoshop for 20 min much less a year...uggggggggg
