Just wondering how to save for best resolution on dp? I just looked at some of my images on a laptop, and can't believe how horrible they look. The worse images are the ones I edited in photoshop. I saved them at standard optimized, 58.8 kbs, at full 10 for quality. I also saved them by reducing the image size rather than save for web. Any suggestions would be helpful. |

Reduce image size .. if you are using CS2 use bicubic smoother.
Sharpen with USM or Smart Sharpen
Save for Web and optimize for 150k.

Well, thanks for the tip on this tutorial. Made a big difference in the appearance of the image. My first one looked very washed out and overexposed, and the one I did according to the tutorial came out much more vibrant with better color and contrast.Originally posted by jdannels: If you are using photoshop then this TUTORIALwill walk you through the steps to get everything up to the limits for challenges. :) |

Some of my images kill me. I end up taking them to 72dpi and dropping the quality down to get under the kb mark )-;. For the most part it doesn't change them too much at the 640 size. But a couple I had to do some crazy things to it, to get it down.
