It is so hard to know how a shot will be received. My free study is one of my best, but it doesn't have much color so because of that, it will most likely score badly. I would have entered my fantasy falls, but decided that as waterfalls go, it probably will do badly in comparison to other waterfalls, so I am going with one that has a story, but isn't full of landscapy type beauty. I need to enter the shot because I think it has a lot of substance, and if I entered anything else and it scored badly, I'd always be kicking myself for not going with my original choice.Originally posted by Bugzeye: I wish my score was doing better, I spent about 3 hours setting up the shot and at least an hour afterwards to clean everything up.
getting some good comments but the votes are slim and grim.
I am going to shake it off because I have a very nice shot entered in the sept free study should do better than the past few photos I have entered. I think it is one of the best photos I have ever taken and the subject is very appealing. Could score my personal best with this one. Then again it could BOMB! |
