So I just checked my email and I had an email from from someone at imagekind.com which does prints and its free to start an account from what I can tell. But he said he was going through DPCPrints and saw my stuff and thought it would be a good spot for me blah blah blah. But it shows on MyDPCprints that i haven't had any referrals in a few days. Has anyone used this before or heard of it, or should I just chalk it up to junkmail?

I think several of us got this e-mail today. They just spammed the heck out of DPC. Sad and I hope no one gives them business for their actions.

Got one too.
First thought was an affiliation with Flickr - page source is nearly a carbon copy.

I've got one too.
Although it is a SPAM, the site looks ok!
Is there anyone that knows if they are good at selling stuff?
I don't see anything bad about trying to sell my pictures elsewhere!

Nothing bad about selling elsewhere, but I personally won't do business with spammers. If nothing else, I know they don't hold the privacy of my email account in high regard -- what's to stop them from selling it to someone else?

BTW, we've contacted imagekind with a cease and desist letter -- hopefully this should end the issue.

I didn't get one... :-(

Oh, unless it was one that went into gmail's spam mangler straight away and I deleted it... ;-)

Hi you all!
Well I tried it just for fun.
What is SPAM anyway?, If somebody really looked at my photos here on dp and therefore asked me to join? So I just tried it!!
And you know what? I sold one!
I sold a picture of a sheep in Iceland.

To You supervisor, If I am doing something wrong by telling about Imagekind here on dp, please let me know and delete my entry.
I just wanted to share my expirience.
