Hey guys,
I was trying to take an image today of 2 carnations. Not the most exotic of flowers but they were for something close to my heart.
So this was my original edit...
And this is my second edit after instructions from a friend on how to only edit the flower and not the background...
Is the second image better than my original??
I'd really appreciate some comments / critiques and will return all comments left.
Thanks |

I prefer the second. softer and nicer shade also I seem to feel i can see more detail in it. maybe not more detail but further into it. adds dimension if that makes sense.

Thanks Crystal, I see what your saying and appreciate you taking a look. I was worried that in lightening the flower head I may have lost detail but I too prefer it to the original edit.
Thanks again :o) |
