I was thinking with all the different countries here it would make an interesting challenge to have the photographers photography a national/state/province/city/town symbol.
Ie, national bird, state flower, etc....
I would be a better challenge for the summer but I am too new here to know how the challenge suggestions become actual challenges.

Yeah, I'd love to get a nice closeup of a wolverine, right before he shreds me to bits.

:-) True but the state bird for Mitchigan is the american robin. So just don't watch "The Birds" before going out. :-)
Still too much there is always the state flower
Flower: Apple Blossom Malus coronaria
The idea was people could choose from anything that was a symbol where they lived (maybe not flags seen enough flags :-) )

State "bird" here in traffic country "California" is the middle finger ;)
