Anyone have a chance to try this lens out yet? It doesn't look like it's in the Equipment page yet, so I'd assume no one here owns one.
I'm not in the market, but I just wondered. It's pretty expensive, but not nearly as much as the Leica Noctilux (I couldn't afford one of those if I sold all my camera stuff AND computer.. I'd love one along with a silver M7, though)
edit- I just saw that it's not available in the US yet, so I guess no one would have been able to try one... any thoughts about it though?

I read a bit of a blurb on a filipino shooter who posted some examples...
Not exactly sure where though.
He says that it maintains excellent color and contrast even at f/1.2.
He took some pics in low light with strong lights at the edges of the pictures and there were no issues with flare... Looks like a serious peice of work. |
