Hey there. Sorry to post another thread on this lens, but I ordered one of these from Adorama in December (just after xmas) and I still haven't received it. They've been telling me that I'm at the top of the list since April. Meanwhile, I've heard rumors that they initially posted the wrong price, and the people who bought at that wrong, lower price were moved to the end of the waitlist. I've been hesitant to cancel my order because it's also back-ordered everywhere else...
Has anybody else received this lens from Adorama, particularly after December?

I have had my name on a list for this lens for about a month. The salesman at the store told me I was # 11 on the list when I signed up, A few days ago they called and said I am still # 11 and that the shipment they are expecting over 3 months ago has been pushed back to Nov 15th. They are expecting 10 of them. So hopefully someone ahead of me on the list finds one someplace else and drops out. Or I wont have it til sometime next year. Seems like Nikon isn't in a big hurry to get this lens out to all the people that want one.

| You should try calling all the local camera shops. There's one at a shop 1/2km from my house. |

| Ordered it from Best Buys on line on Wednesday, October 11th, arrived Friday, October 13th, used a 10% off on-line coupon. |
