Well, I got mine in two days ago, and thats the earliest for me ever, and proberly one of my personal best and easiest shot ever I think, so hope everyone else like it also.....
I was surpised that it came out so well, and hope I don't fall flat on my ass. At least I haven't far to fall.....

Well, according to the challenge details "Gather exactly two objects that are completely unrelated" you seem to be on the right track with your entry ;-)

Got mine in too but, like you, first pair was a no no, second pair fitted better.

Good luck to us all in this unusual challenge ;-)

don't you just hate 'knowing the good image' for the challenge but not wanting 40$ worth of 'one time' props ...
aaagggghhh...

i'll store the idea away .. maybe another day ...

I submitted 6 minutes before deadline, and then unsubmitted 40 seconds before!

Having completed voting, I am glad I unsubmitted ... see

I didn't enter any of these having had quite a discussion with friends and family about the DNMC aspect of this hurting me... any post voting comments would be appreciated... I was considering reshooting the F3 with the CFcard (...#10tk-1) and the D1x with the roll of KodachromeII (...#24tk-1) with better lighting.
========================================================================
Some of the dialog ...

I pondered this for a bit and could not agree with you as the 'genus & species' are not related enough to produce an offspring, The order would be photography. Therefore unrelated.

None of the combinations shown would produce a photograph as each photo represents. I felt that only showing the CF Card next to the Kodachrome II film would not convey the "sense out of their combination, photographically speaking."

So the lack of title explaining this will make it more difficult for some (many) to grasp. I feel that the 'some sort of sense out of their combination' will be conveyed to those that do grasp the diaphanous aspect of the photo, as in relating film to a digital camera or a memory card to a film camera.
