For the current challenges.

I keep thinking the challenge is Purple Rain, darn it. Or at the very least, that's my challenge.

Not me... but I must be showing my age because I did break into a rendition of "One eyed, one horned, flying purple people eater.... :O)

That's "showing your age"? Oh boy, I'm doomed - I can sing the whole thing.

Me too, as I was just a teenager when this song was on the music hit parade.....
I too, can still remember all the words, so guess I am also a golden oldie as well.....
I still love that song today, and often think about it.

Yes!!! All week, I've been thinking about "Purple Rain" from Prince and the movie "The Color Purple" based on Alice Walker's book. I finally finished my purple photo which incorporates the color purple, fake rain from a spray bottle ::sheepish grin::, but still attempts to demonstrate the emotion of compassion. So, I'm ready...

I'm certain my entry will score a well earned 4.5...YIKES!!!
