Now that Canon has broken the $1000 price range with their new Digital SLR - the EOS Digital Rebel, I'm wondering if it is worth it. It seems to have some good features from what I can learn from reading about it. It does have interchangable lenses, a great feature for a camera in this price range. Does anybody know of any reliable reviews of this camera? Anybody buy one yet?

Good Review at DPReview.com

Another Review at Steve's Digicams

I note there are already 15 D300 owners at DPC ... so far.

It'll be interesting who turns out to be the king or the queen of the 300D. lol

Here's where I first heard about the 300D-

the 300D is basically the same camera as the 10D minus a few professional features. It has fantastic image quality. All of the samples I have seen would indicate that this camera is a home-run.
