Found this contest about to come to a close, and I thought I would send it along. It is specifically geared towards non-professional photographers - the Everyman as it is aptly named.
Looks like the deadline is Oct. 2 - and I know there are many amazing photographers here who don't do this for a living. :) Top prize is $50.

| So, if you have a measly amount (not enough to be paid yet) of dollars on a stock site, are you still eligible? |

It says no photo manipulation whatsoever. (apart from cropping) because this is about photography!!!

| I guess I am confused about that too - the no photoshopping thing. Tell me none of the entries submitted in prior years had nothing but cropping done. |

I got an Honorable Mention in that contest a few years ago. Tried to enter last year and they said I was a professional because I sold photos (on DPC), so I was not eligible.
