only one???? cruel to make me pick just one - there are so many! and all the premieres are starting, so TV's getting good lately :)

Gotta go with Bear and agree on Good Eats...even if tv ain't your thing, go pick up the books - also mind-blowing, and equally two-dimensional, but not quite as noisy.

Aside from that, I try not to miss The Simpsons, despite it's recent edge-easing. After 17 full seasons at 22+ episodes each, see how good you'd be for your 18th.

Cinemax "After Hours." :-)

But seriously, I'm with Brad and Ray. I usually end up watching a bit of Mythbusters or American Chopper if it's on. Oh, and CNN at 3am when I get up for work.

I don't watch much T.V.

The ONLY NEW show that is premiring this season that truly excits me is the Discovery Atlas - the cinematography, exploration of the cultures, and land - it looks like watching a National Geographic magazine on T.V. //dsc.discovery.com/convergence/atlas/atlas.html?clik=www_wh_2

Animal Planet's Most Extreme Animals is also a fascinating show.

Of the returning shows my interests are in Dr. Who 3rd season and Battlestar Galactica (which really, when it boils right down to it, is a dark human drama set in space.

Oh, I forgot..I almost never miss "Mind of Mencia"

I killed my cable in May, and don't miss it. I only ever watched 2 shows, "Smallville" and "Lost", and it wasn't worth ~$100 per month. I can watch "Lost" online or put it on my ipod, and i'll either get someone to record "Smallville" for me, or just wait and buy the entire season. Get instant gratification that way. :P

Smallville was great, and I loved watching CSI and Simpsons when I went back a couple of years ago, but I'm about four years out of the loop...

A friend of mine had a DVD of My name is Earl and I watched a couple of episodes. Funny show. Excellent premise.

Honestly though, I don't really miss it. Didn't own a TV when I lived in Canada though, so that is hardly surprising.

Still trying to get there, on my sofa I know all the answers...

Isn't Lindenstrasse your favourite :)

Nope, haven't watched it since I wrote a study in Social Sciences about it , must be 14 years ago.
Interested in some autographs of Hans, Mutter Beimer or Else Kling?

I haven't found ANY TV that I must watch. My TV is on probably less than two hours a week and even then I am not watching it, just listening to weather reports when I am cooking or somethimg.

The Office
CSI: New York
CSI: Miami - for the bad acting and the eye candy

Law and Order - The best show on TV since 1992

What other show can change core cast members every season a still be one of the best shows on TV?

Must NOT see TV

Survivor, Big Brother, Bachelor, The Apprentice, Top Model or any other so called "reality TV".

Bought some DVDs of old 3 Stooges shows for my 6 year old. He loves them.
