| I did a photo shoot today for an aspiring model. I accidentally formated the card and reshot a series or 2. I realized I did not download a set, and it was the best set of the series. Is there any recovery software that I can get to get those back? |

There are many softwares that can recover cards, even formatted. A quick search on google showed me a lot of links, including some free ones (trials). I've used one a long time ago, but don't remember the name..maybe you should try the demos until you get what you need.
Here's one: //www.programurl.com/digital-photo-recovery.htm |

These only work because formatting doesnt delete data, it just clears the space. However, if you have overwritten the same segments of the card with subsequent photos, I think it will be impossible to recover the data :(

| I tried 2 diffrent programs and they are gone. What sucks, is the card has been reformatted about 8 times since my shoot last week, and it has recovered photos from that shoot. |

They were probably photos from towards the end of the shoot, which haven't been written over by more recent shoots that perhaps did not have so many photos?
