For anybody needing cheap matted frames, I thought I'd pass this along. Michaels has 10x13" frames matted for 8x10" prints for only $4 right now, regularly $9.99. I bought a TON of them last night. They also have 8x10 with 5x7 mattes for same price. The mattes are thinner than the normal 1/8th inch (or whatever), maybe 1/16th, but still decent enough for the price. They have different colors, here's what they look like:

This sale happens approximately a couple of times per month. I've bought quite a few of the past year. I also will buy various sized mattes to fit different photo sizes in those frames.
They are easy to work with and really look good when grouped together.
Be careful when buying...always check the corners for any dings and dents (sometimes the glass is chipped).

Nice walls Skip, I love to see peoples homes with loads of photos on the walls, I have just decorated my house throughout, so am now in the process of starting over and putting all new stuff on the walls. |

Found one even closer with that link - thanks! May even be one I can get to after work if I get out of here at a reasonable hour. |

Do not let my wife know about this. Last time she went to michaels she came home with 300 dollars worth of scrapbooking supplies which to this day have not been touched. We have piles of picture frames in our basement that she bought because they were on sale but never bothered to put photos in them. I could open my own Michaels with all the stuff she has stashed around here.

| I get all my frames at Michael's and when they go on sale, I like to stock up. |
