I was getting my pictures together for Photographer's Direct, and came across a LOT of pictures I had never seen before. I guess a long time ago I took these pictures, but never edited them..?

Most of the pictures are from Europe, the rest are from Maryland.

I urge each and everyone of you to search through your old stuff, I know you'll see something beautiful that you never saw before. If you do come across something, post it here!!

Great pictures indeed, but don't be too disappointed if a few of them get rejected. Most famous buildings (like the ones below) cannot be sold as stock. I'm not sure of the specifics on these, though, so maybe you'll be okay.
And I agree about searching through your old stuff. I'm sure I could find at least 20 or more stock-worthy pix on my hard drive that're just sitting there. Now if I could just get off my butt and edit / upload them, I'd be golden. :o)

Something makes me think that pyramid at the Louvre is copyrighted by the designer.. not sure but I remember reading it somewhere.

Also, do you have model releases for the people shots? Unless they are being sold as hm.. what's the term.. something about news..

Bah it'll come to me later.

"Editorial use" is the term you want.

Here's a link to the most common Special Releases List of buildings you can't sell as stock images without a property release from the owner. Note that you can still photograph the buildings, and even sell them as (individually-made, sold at retail) fine art prints.
