What's that about I could go 15/16 in the Football Pool if the Steelers pull it off... (actually it don't matter I pulled off the win last night).

That was one boring football game-- my gawd

Not boring at all. Defense at its best and the Steelers??

S-H-U-T-O-U-T

(and I needed only 3 fantasy points from Leftwich to win my other fantasy league, got 8)

Big difference between lousy offense and good defense-- :)

In this case, I'd say the Steeler's offense sucked and so did the Jaguars. The only thing that won Jacksonville the game was that their defense did just a little bit better than ours.

I wouldn't brag about a win if I was Jacksonville...it was an ugly game any way you look at it. Sure they got yards, but they failed to capitalize on anything really.

The game must've looked different on TV, because at the stadium, it was a classic slugfest. I thought both defenses were pretty damn solid.

And I am pleased with the win.

Yeah...I agree, both defenses did pretty well...Of course the fact that the Pittsburgh defense allowed Jacksonville's offense to hold on to the ball for so much longer, they just got tired out.

Although like I said...Jacksonville's offense didn't capitalize -- was their offense lacking or did our defense hold tight all game, I don't know, maybe a combination of the two. So I guess now everyone is saying Jacksonville is supposed to go pretty far this year. That's cool...you guys deserve it.

And this from Steeler fans who bragged after being given the Superbowl. Hmmmm.

Like the Steeler fans said last year, a win is a win. Who has the W next to their name?

Ok, 14-2 won't be so bad... right? :P

Well, the outcome of the game wasn't great, but I wanted to say that it was great to have a chance to meet fellow DPC'er dassilem and her boyfriend!

If anyone finds themselves at a Steelers game, be sure to drop me a line ahead of time -- it's always fun to meet you guys!

Won't be finding myself at a game, unfortunately, since I'm in Oklahoma. But I'll be on my couch every game pretty much looking like this:

I was up 52 to 47 before tonight in fantasy football. My opponent had no more players left. It's a DAMN good thing I benched Roethlisberger because if I didn't, I would have just lost hehehe.

So I lost? I dont get all them fancy stats!!
lol

Man My 2 main player let me down today-- "Johnson & Johnson"

I had Terry Glenn active on a bye week also-- DUMBASS!

I'm grateful that you chose to upload *this* shot and not the other one of me -- the one where I have a look on my face that suggests that a UFO had just landed in front of me! :)

On a sidenote, I miss the "real" MNF, this espn one just isn't the same :(

Now NBC's Sunday Night games have been great!

As long as ESPN has clowns like Joe Theismann as an announcer, their games will be awful. John Madden rambles sometimes, but he knows a lot about the players and the game, and provides a unique perspective that most of the former athlete announcers can't begin to emulate.

My own schedule is such that I can watch Sunday Night Football more often than MNF, so the shuffling of who airs what works better for me.
