Hi Everyone -
I was wondering if anyone could answer this question for me. I remember reading somewhere in the posts a while back that some people vote on submissions first, then go back and leave comments. As I am running behind on voting (and have a very very slow dial up connection, that for some reason keeps bumping off the internet lately) I decided to do this so I could make sure I got as least my minimum votes in. I am trying to go back and leave comments but as soon as I leave one, I get put back into the photos I haven't voted on yet. Is there a way I can stay in the group I have voted on? It is taking way too long to go back and forth! Thanks for any help!! |

I don't know if it would help you or not, but one thing I will do is open a bunch of windows, then load a different picture in each one. Then, I can comment, or whatever, and go on to the next one. When I have done the "batch," I can click refresh, then start over.

I made the same suggestion on this thread last week. I was hoping that L&D could work on this problem when they were doing some recoding for the site. I totally agree with your point on the going all the way back to the first vote. A lot of wasted loading times.
I have a faster speed and I usually will vote on all entries and go back later to make comments and make changes to scores as I comment.
I will usually comment on all of the non-membered entries because its a lot less to comment on. My average is about 100 semi-detailed comments or so a week.

| I tried opening one photo and then another but apparently I can't seem to figure out how to do that. I guess there's no system in place to do what I wanted at the moment - sorry faidoi - I missed your post on this exact subject - thanks for the link. I think I will just try to make sure I don't get this far behind on the next challenge and then I can comment as I vote, like I usually do. Thanks for the help:) |

More threads will give them an idea on improving the site and help people make votes and comments. The people who always look at the forums will tire of the threads, but if it helps to make commenting and voting easier I think everybody will be for it.
