Hi I have questions about photoshop. I have photoshop CS.

1. the lasso selection tool. How can I zoom in and zoom out during a lasso selection? Each time I zoom in or out again, the lasso selection wont let me change anymore?

2. touching up. What tools should I use to, say, distort a limb, or re-shape a person's face, etc? I sometimes use the Smudge tool - is that a bad decision? what do you use? any other tip on what I wanted to do?

Thanks!

Answers to you questions:

1. You can hold the "Ctrl" key (on a PC) and press "-" or "+" to zoom in and out.

2. I would give the "Liquify" filter a try. Use a mask if you need to. There are also different brush modes. Play around with them to figure out what meets your needs. Use the reconstruct brush to fix your mistakes.

In addition to zooming in with the "Ctrl" and "-" or "+" whilst using the lasso tool; it can also be used when any of the other dialogue window are open-like the shadow/highlight-curves-levels etc.

there is a row of 4 small symbols at the top left of your screen, where you can choose to have a single selection, add or subtract a new selection etc. choose the second symbol from the left
